Future of biomedical enginnering

The college faculty are good and facility are good and recently the department got n.b.a affiliation. So, the college and the course are too good.

I gave jee exam and i got almost around 25000 rank. I heard about this college before for good facility so that i choose this college.

This biomedical engineering course is good, now it is growing industry, most of us don't know this course properly. But it has good future. This course covered almost all important subjects. The research field is also good here. Now a days many company are funding for biomedical research this days for advancement in medical field.

Yes, our college provided internship in hospitals for one month but no stipend but later they gave opportunity in a company internship for 6 months and we get stipend.

Placement officer is good and hard working. He gave us many opportunities in many company like tcs,cts,infosys,mindtree etc it companies and also gave us chance to join in core biomedical company like max,dragger,phoenix,mindray,transasia etc. And luckily we all biomedical students are well placed.

The college also celebrate some events like cultural, technical etc. We celebrated netaji subhash birthday as our college foundation day. Then we celebrate saraswati puja in college and whole college students and committee members celebrate it. Then we celebrate 4 days of technical fest by participating technical events, later we celebrate cultural fest by some cultural events.

The fees stucture is complex. In 1st sem we gave the fees in the admission time, later for 2nd sem we gave 65 thousand rupees before starting the session. Later from 2nd year to 4th year we gave 40 thousand in all semesters. The totally fees is around 3.5 lakhs, for medium earning family it is feasible.

The good result of student will get scholarship and the loan facility is here also. The punjab national bank is connected with college and they gave the loan by opening an account.

Campus life is good here. The gender ratio is almost half. The student party politics are strictly ruled out here. They have one official tech club named phoenix. The ragging system is ruled out here and if ragging is showed here, the student will be rasticated by anti ragging committee .

College have their own hostels but low seats and bad quality. I would prefer to rent a mess or flat to stay. That will be good for you. The room quality and supply systems are pretty good in flats. The food quality is bad in mess and restaurant. I would suggest to get a cook or cook yourself.

We have a strong alumni in biomedical engineering. We also make a reunion event every year to gather past students and present students in one place. We perform some cultural events there and provide good food. The senior and junior connected here every year by exchanging numbers.

The course is for 4 years and it is divided into 8 semester. Each semester contains minimum 5 theory exams and 5 practical examinations. This exams is organised once in every 6 months. The exam is divided in 2 parts. 70 marks for written semester exam and other 30 marks is for internal class performance by given unit tests and attendance. Same case is in laboratory.

This course is auto selected by online counselling process. 1st i went to techno india main campus to conform by booking the seat for biomedical engineering with 20000. Later i went to netaji subhash engineering college to register my seat for that course.

The faculty of the college are great. They are well qualified( minimum master degree level). Our beloved hod is also high qualified and also inspired admired us to study in this course. They also teach us in interesting way using projector or visiting labs.
