The college management and infrastructure is the thing that needs to be focused on the most. However it is doing good and I believe it will keep itself to the mark.

Appeared for JEE Mains . Scored around 180 marks and rank was around 19000. I chose this college due to its excellent placement stats and being in Chandigarh was another subtle reason for me to choose this college over any NIT

The course curriculum is very much same as that of IIT Kanpur with a little changes in it. The course structure carries adequate weight age to practicals, labs , assignments ,quizzes and exams. However to make the course structure flexible there have been elective courses with a wide range of courses .

Yes our College encourage industrial exposure and that's why we have an active Tpo to help the students out with the type of internship they want to seek and we also have a compulsory training semester so that student could get a idea of what he's gonna do in future.

The location of Pec stands to great advantage in this matter. PEC has a placement record comparable to very good NITS. The average package is also good and some of the top companies that visits the campus are Goodman Sachs, Amazon,Jp Morgan, Maruti Suzuki, Honda etc

We organize North India's biggest fest i.e PECFEST. It 's a three day event with technical events during the day time and the cultural ones reserved for night. Last year we had Fallen Akhtar as our main star and in 2016 it was Amit Trivedi. Apart from that there are many other activities of individual clubs that keeps student alive through out the semester

Fee structure is feasible. It is 55250 per semester . The hostel fee is around 60000 per year that includes around 7000 caution money and excludes the mess bill. The fee structure is nearly the same as in other NITS and the fee structure is much better than many other private colleges

The college is known for its extracurricular activities. Name a club and you'll find it here. The gender is ratio is not of much significance. There are technical workshops also. The college encourages student for their participation in these societies and clubs . We have also several NGOs founded by students of Pec only.

The hostel facilities are OK but it also depends on what hostel you've been allotted and in 1 st year you have to share the room but from second year onwards they give you single rooms. Mess food is a problem and improvement needs to be done on it. However, Pgs are available nearby and at an affordable rent.

The exams structure is such that we have two exams in a semester. However, quizzes , lab evaluation, assignments are very much enough to make sure that the students are not free during their semester. The final marks are evaluated giving sufficient weightage to practicals and theory

I filled a form JAC Chandigarh and the notification was released soon after the JEE Result and then we were called for reporting to Chandigarh.The administration was strict and they made sure that we had all the documents required. Then I was finally alloted a seat in PEC Chandigarh.

No doubt about the qualifications and experience of the faculty members but still the teaching standards need to be improved a lot. However no doubt there are some faculties that make sure to render the best to their students and most of them hold a PhD
