nice environment,all basic necesities are covered
faculty is nice and are well qualified .
the infrastructure is also very well in terms of facilties.

some basic necesities in some hostels are not upto mark

I have a personal interest in computers and coding.so i choose CSE.faculty:student ratio i think is okay.and the teching method is also nice.the conduction of term exams is also nice.the dificulty i can say is moderate.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many companies like goldman,wells fargo linkedin have approached ,the stipend is between 30k to 1lakh.as far in my department is considered some descent type of projects are needed to get the internship.

Placement Experience

yeah the placement procedure is quite okay.many big companies like goldamn,linkedin have visited.as far as i know the highest package is around 45lakh per annum.in cse as per now placement percentage is above 80.

Fees and Financial Aid

for a open category student without any benefits,the fee structure i think is 70000 per year only academic fee.and as far as hostel fee it costs about 6000 per month,for academic fees we can apply for fee reduction as per annual family income.

Campus Life

there will be two fests per year.THATVA technical fest conducted in odd semester And RAGAM(cultural fest) conducted in even semester.and library is also nice.all types of academic books will be available.

Hostel Facilities

yeah the hostel facilties are also quite okay.the averge fees for hostel and mess per month is about 6000.as far as my hostel there is lack of some necesities like geyser,wifi.and sometimes we have to pay hostel fees in yime of holidays also.

Admission

There was an entrance exam.the exam is JEE mains.As far as i know average cutoff for cse in my college was open rank 5000.I did not avail any reservation benefits.so far the admission process is good no improvement is needed.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
