Remarks

Plus two or equivalent courses are the eligibility for B.Tech. but I completed my diploma in computer hardware engineering. And attended the lateral entry test conducted by the LBS center for science and technology. And I am allowed to the third semester of this course. No improvement I want to see in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well-arranged and easy to follow. If anyone completed B. Tech in computer science and engineering under APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY they can archive the total idea of this field of engineering and can learn several types of programming languages like c, c++, and java like that. And the faculties are very awesome. Teaching and nonteaching faculties are very efficient and professional. And also they provide extra curriculum activities to students like Linux installation.

Placement Experience

College provides a good campus placement opportunity for every department. Especially for the computer science department. There are lot multinational companies that will visit for campus placement each year

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a self-financing college. So there are two types of fees. Govern or university fee and management fee. University fee is like registration fee and exam fee etc. And the management fee is containing a caution deposit of? 10000 and a tuition fee of 25000 per semester. They provide different types of scholarships for students who archive an 8 or more GPA out of 10 each semester. Also providing national and state government scholarships

Campus Life

MECSM (MEA ENGINEERING COLLEGE SPORTS MEET) is the annual sports meet and MECAF(MEA ENGINEERING COLLEGE ARTS FEST) is the anual arts fest. And the college student preparing for conduct Techfest in this December.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.

MEA engineering college review

I choose this college because it near by my house and I always wanted go there . I applied for mea engineering college and computer science and I got the same college but different stream that is IT. Which is also good. They rejected because first I got a college in Kollam and rejected because it too far. And next allotment I got my second priority college. The admissions process actually nice. Not tireding first I apply for management seat then I got merit Quota.
