MEA engineering college review

Curriculum not much I like because they should include more practical session nn life's website development and more technology related tasks. But they not providing it. Only concentrated on syllabus and university pass . Not focused on student's skill development.

8th semester students are eligible for placement and infosys, Malabar gold, tcs, byjus and many calling centre companies, skilled and high performed student get 9 lakh per annum and average students get 2 lakh per annum. Approx 20 % student get placement. My plan is that I would apt for placements or I will do extra courses for developing my skills

My course is btech information technology and my fees for a year is 50000. And they are also giving scholarships for students who scored above 8 gcgpa and also there is lot more government scholarships my college supports.

Overall experience is not that bad because all the functions are good and well coordinated . We held tech frst called sarga. And we do sports and arts freshers . Onam Christmas , iftar and all. Sports and extracurricular activities are nice and there is cricket and football team and matches on going. There is lot of social group of our college in social media

I choose this college because it near by my house and I always wanted go there . I applied for mea engineering college and computer science and I got the same college but different stream that is IT. Which is also good. They rejected because first I got a college in Kollam and rejected because it too far. And next allotment I got my second priority college. The admissions process actually nice. Not tireding first I apply for management seat then I got merit Quota. For management quota you have to qualify lean exam and for merit quota you should get the allotment and lean procedures.

Faculty members are nice and they also providing good lectures and examinations system is quite tough according to our university and syllabus. There is lesser number of months to complete the syllabus because semester is very short span now. That is very difficult to keep up with and our marking system very strict and not giving enough mark for students. And they also not providing refund for the students who got grade high in revaluation
