Remarks

The director of college have college very bad words on me in front of my colleagues. He is a cultureless person with a very horrible personally. Character wise he is very bad. Abuse all students for silly reasons. If your have any option don't join this college.

Entrance Preview

I have completed my diploma in tool and die making. I came to know from my friends that AMIE have very less mathematics to study in the syllabus. Thus I joined directly to this college after completion of my diploma and one year industrial experience. I have worked in Bangalore from 2006 to 2007. I have joined the college in June 2007. Put much pain to get relieved from the industry I was working.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is simple but powerful. The curriculum is not like the ordinary Curriculum which is followed in any other college. Our college had a one and one and half Curriculum. The Curriculum which is followed in our college is called the Curriculum of the institution of engineers India.

Internships Opportunities

College is give only 3000 per mouth to its pass out student faculty who teaches 5 hours continuously in a day. So college will never afford to give any internship to students. Director is much greedy to earn money. He had bought a new s class Mercedes with the money he had. The student have no other choice rather to go for post graduation. Thus they usually join M-tech or MBA programmes. So that they could atleast survive.

Placement Experience

0.5

College in its big mouth says that it has 100 percentage placement but in its life time it had not attained a single campus placement. The student have no other choice rather to go for post graduation. Thus they usually join M-tech or MBA programmes. So that they could atleast survive.

College Events

0.5

We have only one comedy afternoon every week " With our Director" usually in Saturdays. The was the only entertainment we had in our college life. Director will come to stage and speak about his great things, which is actually joke for us. Director also ask students to make song of him and to recite in front of all. The song should praise the director. Usually girls student used to edit Christian song in name of our director and used to sing at the time of with our director. At that time these song are a big comedy and joke for our boys students and we used to laughs and pass comments and enjoyed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actual when we joined in college in 2007 director was not much greedy. As time passed he became more greedy and increased the free structure. But still it was economical than the other collages. Director can afford with low fees because faculty is paid very less and they are made to work like any thing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since our college don't have any recognition from either AICTE or any of the university not even a single bank will give loan for us. Hence there is no point in discussion about loan for the students who study there.

Campus Life

0.5

A simple example to explain about the lab. A student who study computer engineering will see a computer only if he have one at home or if he had a chance to visit any other institute. Our college didn't had a simple lab. It don't have any thing, It is merely a tuition center for AMIE students. We have did our laboratory work from RIT Pampady. The government engineering college. The college rules are very strict as if we looka girl we will get punishments like impositions for 100 to 1000 times. So there is no point in discussion of gender ratio and diversity.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel for 2 years was good. We have a cooperative time mess. In my last year our director also found the chances of getting money from our mess. So he dispersed all the cooperative mess and made a single central mess. The mess charge was increase to 3 or 4 times. The food was very bad. The quality was very low. Students several times got worms from curries. We complained to director, but he was interested only in making money.

Alumni/Alumna

My goodness, not even a single guy would like to go to that college in there life any more. Very one hate the college and the director. So there is no point in discussion of alumni meets and network. Since after completion of course we have no other go. We have to study in some good institution to cover up the 3 years we spend. So most of the students passed from the college had struggled hard to get admission in NIT or IIT so that nobody will care before college we studied.

Exam Structure

Examination structure is simple the college cannot be college as a college as it don't have any approval or affiliation of any university, The students has to register on there own to IEI india which is in Kolkata. And according to the exam schedule of IEI india student while have to travel to different college to write examination. Since our college was like a fusion center it didn't have any authority to conduct any examination of its own. Except some class test, which they do daily and trouble the students.

Admission

The admission was very simple. My parents enquired about the admission by directly going to the college. The college directors uncle was my fathers friend. So we enquired through him. Also there was a personal interview. From the college side to check the capability of the candidate. This was only because 2006, 7 and 8 were the peek time of this college admission. To it had much demand. Now there is no interview as such.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty in our college never a an experience of more than two years. This was because director was wise enough, if a more experienced guy is appointed then he has to pay more money. Hence always he had preferred fresher's. Also due to directors torture not even a single faculty could survive more than 3 years. Hence thing became more easy there.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
