weather was good and beautiful like kerala is gods own country
placements are good like maximum every student get placed at the end of their studies
teaching skills are good by the staff and intresting

mess food is good but i didnt like it much like no spicy
transportation to the nearest city it far from the college
language problem by native people they dont speak english

Course Curriculum Overview

i choose cse (core). i like coding and have intrest in improving skills. the thing i like about this college is experienced faculty and all of them did phd from any IIT and NIT. the way they teach us is excellent. its not very difficult to pass, but hard to get good score

Placement Experience

placements are good and from 6th semester we can apply for placements and many big companies vist our college. aroung 75 companies visited last year. 8 is the average percantage of students to get placed. i will learn deep in coding in database and get a job in a big company

Fees and Financial Aid

the sem fees for any course student is arount 109000, and the hostel,mess food fees around 57000. studens take loan from any bank to pay the fees. if u have good skills in coding u can get scholorship and u need to have good interaction with staff for interships.etc;

Campus Life

apoorv is the annual fest and flashmobs are conducted for every sem. there are some clubs for responsible for the clubs.the library has many books related to coding and electronics. trendles, wildbeasts, betalabs and some groups are there. sports are good and trainer also well trained

Hostel Facilities

hostel is very good in cleanliness and the way they maintain greenary around college and mess food is average like there are many students from different parts of the college they make food for like everyone can eat. u can have a rented room nnear the hastel distance of 1.5km

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

i written jee mains entrance exam. after passing the 12th class anyone can apply for this entrance exam. and there is reservation for obc,oc,sc and st students. the abmission process is very good and smooth

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

IIITK hostel nightmares

The college has a very attractive campus and it is very new so the facilities are also relatively new. no placements but good to explore your interests

The only reason I choosed this college is because of it placements but now they are worst for my batch almost 70 percent people are unplaced. and i choosed this college because i wanted cse and either i could get lower branches in top colleges or top branchs in low colleges. so i preffered choosing cse. i applied for NIT Suratkal, NIT Warangal mechanical BUt i felt CSE Would be much better so i end up landing here. the other reason why i preferad my college is because of its beautiful campus. yes i got rejected from nit surathkal cse because my jee rank was low...Read More
