Remarks

My experience is overall good in this college. They are is nothing bad neither with the alumni nor the environment of the college but yes the college is situated in a very side area. Metro facility is not available there you will have to take bus or gramin seva from nearest metro stn to reach the college. This is the demerit and yes the college is also not that supporting extra curriculum activities. But overall it is a disciplined science college.

Entrance Preview

You do not need to qualify for any entrance exam for this. Simply register on du website for admission. It's merit-based. 85% and above in pcm is required. Polymer science is an emerging field you have a lot of opportunities. And there are very fewer colleges in India offering BSc in polymer sc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Projects and research facilities are also available for the interested students in the college. A generic elective is also taken in cbcs to enhance once skill. Several subjects are available such as psychology the biomedical sc etc. The course consists of different subjects in each semester. From raw materials used in polymer sc to rheology and polymer processing and mold design.

Internships Opportunities

No. My college does not provide the internship. So no stipend or no experience is required. But yes many seminars are held that are very effective. National seminars are also held students can participate in it

Placement Experience

2.5

College offers placement to deserving students. Many companies come to the college For placement. Several students sit in the exam. Placement ranges from 4-7 lakhs p.a but students mostly don't prefer to get a job rather pursue higher studies as it is a very good field. Several companies rubber and oil and paint companies come for the placement session.

College Events

4

The college has eca department. Which contains several societies such as dance society named rage music society named moksha and fashion society named Panache. Every year fest is organized in the college every society performs it. Thought fest is not that cool as other du colleges. It also organizes sports day and celebrates national days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very genuine according to the facilities offered. The annual fees are 22000 in which 3600 examination fees is included. The fees are very feasible as lab facilities and chemicals used equipment used for the experiments are all included in this fees. Being a science course I think the fees are very feasible and affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college offers fee concession facility every year. The students have to fill the form for the same and submit the required documents to the administration. The fee concession is given according to students percentage and attendance. Students can also apply for national level scholarships college does not provide any kind of scholarship.

Alumni/Alumna

The staffs of the administration department are very very helpful. They are very kind in nature. The seniors of you department will also be available to help you any time you need them.. You can do projects with them too. Alumni is also very helpful if only you arebready to word hard.

Exam Structure

In cbcs mode exams are conducted semester wise. Each semester lasts for 6 months. Exams are divided into 3 parts internal theory external theory and practicals. Practicall is of 50 marks internals of 25 marks and external of 75 marks.! In internal 5 marks is for attendance and 10 for test conducted and 10 for assignment

Firstly register on du.ac.in. Admission process begins from may. Cut off lists are out in month of june. If your cutoff % matches with that required for the particular course you can go to the cllg on the specified dates with the required documents and get admission there.

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). It includes biochemistry, botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications
