About my college life in BME stream

I've chosen this course because I have interest in this field and the job opportunities in this field is very remarkable nowadays. The faculty student ratio of my department is 1:10. All the facilities have completed Mtech in biomedical engineering and some of them have done PhD also. Faculties teaches us with a very friendly manner so there is no problem in understanding. Exam happens two times per year and it's very easy to pass if you follow the classes regularly.

We have to pay 56,500/- rupees per semester except 1st semester. For 1st semester the fees was 79,500/- rupees. And there are total eight semesters. SVMCM, NSP these scholarships are available. Which helps us in paying semester fees.

The annual fest of college is Mesmerizer which is generally conducted in the month of February. The tech fest of college is Avenir and it is conducted generally in thek month of March. Our library is well-stocked with a wide range of books and journals, catering to the academic needs of students across various disciplines. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities, including audio-visual aids, comfortable seating, and interactive whiteboards, fostering an optimal learning environment. For sports enthusiasts and those interested in extracurricular activities, our campus offers a plethora of options. From cricket fields to basketball courts and from music clubs to debate societies, there's something for everyone to get involved in and pursue their passions. The social club of our college is CSR- NSEC.

The admission process for my course involved taking the Web JEE examination after completing my 12th class. I obtained a rank of 35,000 in the exam. Interestingly, there was no specific cutoff for our department. However, there were 2 seats reserved under the TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) scheme for financially disadvantaged students. To begin the application process, I visited our college's official website where I found the application form. The application form, along with details about application fees and important dates, was available for download. I applied for admission in August 2021, adhering to the specified deadlines. The application process was straightforward, requiring the submission of necessary documents along with the filled-out form.
