Likes

College campus are very clean and very much greenish.
The quality of the food from canteen is very good

Dislikes

We have only one lift which is very small
Teacher are very rude and they are not too much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course cause I am passionate about the biomedical field. There are 1:5 faculty: student ratio. The faculty members are educated enough. The teaching method is also good. But some of them are not helpful.

After 6th sem we are eligible for campus placement..many company visited in our college but biomedical company are less....TCS, Wipro etc..The highest package 60lacks..50%are student getting placed every year...I will do MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 56500 rupees for per semester. Which is very much high for me. I don't get any scholarship or any job till now on campus with stipend. Some time they threaten us to give the semester fees before the semester or the administration doesn't allow us to give the semester.

Campus Life

There are two fest arranged by college one Sriti and next mesmerized. The tech fest is Avenir...cultural fest held in the month of January and March. And tech fest held in the month of November. There many clubs in college..CSR and etc

Admission

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) in 2021. Then there is direct admission without any councelling. I fill up the application form. I paid 90000 rupees. Then I got admission in 2021.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

Placements are normal, doesn't give very good placements but tcs and wipro visits and recruits lots of people. In 2024 tcs alone recruited 250 students from our college and other companies comes as well, mostly mass recruiters

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

I scored around 92 %ile in my JEE mains in 2022 and particupated in counselling. In my JEE mains counselling. I was not allotted a good college I was allotted some of the Government colleges like Assam University but I preferred come going to a private college over going to a college which is in north east or far from my home and even not that famous at a rank of 77000 I was allotted IT in this college. The process through which I got into the college was JEE mains phase-2 counselling .Generally students take admission in this college from WBJEE which is very easy exam and you can also get into this college through management quota the cutoff for CSEee exam is around 12000 to 13000 for CSE ....Read More
