The way of freedom they give for the students is very good
The teaching way of style here is awesome
Sports complex is available her and the equipment too

Less canteens available in the campus and night mess is not available

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I decide to choose computer engineering but my rank obtained is not suitable for the criteria her so I decided to choose electronics and Communication engineering which also have a coding part included in it and after joined the course I felt the circuits are also more interesting and the teaching staff and caring about the students is excellent her

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google , Microsoft, Intel,... And all these companies will come and give different roles as an intern based upon our interview and also the cgpa matters too. They will give a training for one month and they will give some projects to do

Placement Experience

Actually according to my knowledge, I think the placement starts from 3 Rd year ending and continue upto 4 th year final and a person can wait until he get his desired job and the intern for the students starts inbetween 2 nd and third year around 30 percent of the students are selecting for this

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the fee structure depends upon the reservation that you have and based upon your income . If income is less than one lakh the fees for sem and hostel is around 70000,and for the others I don't know much

We have to clear the jee mains in +2 and then according to your rank you can send the request to jossa and the according to the priorities that we made and based on our rank, and college cutoff , we get a mail from jossa and there are seven rounds, and after entering this college they will verify all the issued documents and they will give the Id card

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
