College Time: Journey passed too-fast

The reason for choosing is not getting the Hons one OFC. The Strength of the class was approx 100, unlike the Hons, programme don't have any sections of it. Sometimes faced the seating issue in classes due to this, though the students attendance was less than 40%-50%. Teachers are good, they teach normally at average speed to complete the syllabus timely. Only issue for All DU Students was the minimum attendance criteria, issue of evey college students. Though our college never forces us to complete 75% criteria but few faculty (mostly seniors) asks to have atleast 40% to get marks in Internal.

Many college society did do the summer internship like Business-Cafe, did for their annual magazine for Marketing and writing. Stay in-contact with the Placement cell people or get into them, they will help a for getting the good internships at some good companies

In end of the 2nd year, Companies started coming for Interviews. Deloitte usually set with certain no like 30 student to hire for all college they have in their mind. 1st Company to come is Deloitte, then EY, Kpmg, and other companies (I don't remember much).

I don't think so, fees should be that much high in comparison to the infrastructure issues, I have faced during my time. Student Union did some protest, only after that ACs were installed in Library, that's was a different day incident to be told. But concerns regarding high fees remains for the college, especially to Bcom Prog students. Overall not satisfied with infrastructure at my time, maybe they have improved it!

Societies are best thing in every college. They are helping support to individual development and Campus Placement. Join good societies, like Placement one's to get lot of networks and opportunities, Comco - a big commerce society and NSS etc. I was in CA Asp Society, covered under Commerce Deptt. Various Sports was available but usually more preference to use them are given to students from Sports Quota. Not used much library books except 1 or 2 time only for Clg semester syllabus. We have LASHKARA Annual fest, though I attended day 1 but sadly missed Day 2, which was 10x more fun than day 1.

I got the admission on the Bcom Prog, as Hons was closed on the 96%. The batch was pre-covid batch, so admission was totally on the 12th Marks. I didn't find any difficulty in admission as the applying was online and easy.
