My College Insights

Likes

College environment is amazing. Clean, hygienic environment, spacious college with a large college ground for sports enthusiasts
College societies are very active. Engaging and unique events and competitions are held with exciting rewards, such as case hunts. Society specific seminars are held with successful, diligent speakers time-to-time

Dislikes

Class lectures are not very much engaging.
Lots of writing work such as assignments, tests, etc. which may not provide any value addition

Fees and Financial Aid:

Course fees per annum is Rs. 30180 exclusive of gst and convenience fee. The fee receipt provided does not specifically mentions specific charges as to tution, caution, etc, but no additional charges are required to be paid for the year except the examination fee being revolving around Rs. 1350 each semester. So far, same amount of fee has been charged for the first and second semester

SGTB Khalsa College - Review

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is okay okay, it's not that bad but not really good.
The teaching faculty is great. There are highly experienced teachers.

Dislikes

The crowd is not much diverse. There is majority of sikh students in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fee of my course is 30200. And the fee will remain same throughout the years. There are no details of the tuition fee, admission fee or the registration fee. There are no college provided scholarships but one can avail scholarships that come under University of Delhi.

library is one of the finest in campus of du
very engaging professors and seniors are present

Dislikes

infrastructure needs a lot of improvement
library closes at 6pm should give more time

So basically yearly fees is 30180 no sem wise fees taken registeration for subjects in each sem depends upon the subject choosen and is usually between 1100-1400 rupees Pwd category fees arounf 10 rupees

Limited number of courses offered by our college.
Occasionally, there are some administrative inefficiencies.

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is an average hike of 5-10% in tution fees and it will be after a year or two. The average complete cost of my education is 1 lakh. One can apply for financial aid by providing letter to management. Campus emloyment happens in final year, major role are of audit, account, finance and sales.

campus life at the college is very good. As there are number of fest being organised by the college societies so it is fun to be There
The infrastructure of the college Is modern . Air-conditioner room, new furniture is there in the class

Sgtb Khalsa College is a semi government College a part of Delhi University. So the fees is around 30,200 and which I would say is not very much and is affordable. There are number of scholarships and financial assistance assistance given to the students.

College Time: Journey passed too-fast

Likes

Crowd was good, Ground was quite big to spend time, Special Place - Jannat
Wi-Fi facilities was also good for the students

Dislikes

Infrastructure was still not upto the mark, was below in comparison to college like MIRANDA, HANSRAJ
Fees was still high in comparison to other colleges, and in comparison to infrastructure, it was indeed high

Fees and Financial Aid:

I don't think so, fees should be that much high in comparison to the infrastructure issues, I have faced during my time. Student Union did some protest, only after that ACs were installed in Library, that's was a different day incident to be told. But concerns regarding high fees remains for the college, especially to Bcom Prog students. Overall not satisfied with infrastructure at my time, maybe they have improved it!

Likes

Supportive Faculties and healthy relation between teachers and studnets.
Social life of our college is pretty decent and good

Dislikes

Infrastructure could have been a bit better.
Placement percentage of students could rise

The fee i paid for my course was around 30K which i think is appropriate seeing the faculty and amenities provided . Right now being a 1st year student , i haven't got any interns or applied for plavements but yeah i think in future in my last year , i will crack some good placement.

The College offers a great ambience and atmosphere.
The teachers are supportive and Lenient in most of the matters

The student teacher one on one interaction is limited
information flows very slow through teachers

The fees as compared to other DU colleges are relatively on the higher side ranging nearly 28000 per year. There are scholarships available for financially weaker sections which can be availed by submitting an application along with necessary documents to the college admin. The students can also apply for scholarships at the university level which can be taken through the assistance of college admin.

For a B.Com, Ramjas will be the best option among these. It has an excellent commerce faculty. It offers a great academic atmosphere. Ramjas has many active clubs and societies that you can join.

Ramjas College placements are pretty good for B.Com. According to the recent placement drive, the highest and average salary packages offered to students are respectively, INR 19.5 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. Students get recruited as Risk Advisories, Audit Assistants, etc.
