The campus of our college is very clean.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course cause I'm passionate about this. The faculty members are not so helpful. They are qualified enough but some of their teaching method is not so good. They do partiality and being rude some time.

Internships Opportunities

Siemens health-care opportunate us with internship for industrial training. But for hospital training we have to arrange the internship by ourselves. College just provide the NOC certificate. There is no stipend for any internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 565000 rs for per semester, which is quite costly. They pressurize us to pay the amount before the semester. If we can't pay then they don't allow us to give the semester. I get the swami vivekananda scholarship.

Campus Life

Mesmerizer is our annual fest which is conducted in February. There is also some tech fest conducted. Books are available in the library. The classroom is small. It's being so chaotic when there is no teacher present. Sports and extra curricular activities also held on campus. CSR, Eco cultural etc clubs are present for students

Admission

We gave the JELET examination. After that we contact with the departmental HoD through our seniors. It was direct admission. We paid the semester fees for our first semester and then we got the admission.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

For campusing it starts from 3rd year 6th sem. The companies that come to this college are TCS , Wipro , Cognizant , HCL and many more . My plan after b.tech is to get a job then with job study for m.tech then give exam on DRDOIT.

NSEC: Where learning meets oppurtunity

i applied to colleges like techno main saltlake, heritage, meghnad saha institute , STCET. But I preffered this college as the fees is less compared to others. Also the college is nearer to my home, which would reduce the travel time. I could'nt make to college like Jadavpur University due to low rank. For admission WBJEE rank is required with 10+2 qualification. Students need to register through wbjee counselling, fill their preferences and then colleges are alloted according to their rank. I scored around 92 %ile in my JEE mains in 2022 and particupated in counselling. In my JEE mains counselling. I was not allotted a good college I was allotted some of the Government colleges like Assam University but I preferred come going to a private college over going to a college which is in north east or far from my home and even not that famous at a rank of 77000 I was allotted IT in this college.
