The college teachers help very much in academics.

Some teacher's carry very much attitude that students are very scared to ask them questions.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took this course because is not famous. The competition for getting job in this course is very low. Also this course has a huge market in future. And also it is a very good topic for research. The faculty members are very good and helpful. Also we have PhD scholar as our faculty member. Their guidance is very helpful. Exam are not so easy but not too difficult. Every exam topics are covered in the class.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the time of admission we have to pay 84300 Rs. And then every semester 56500 rs. This fees structure is sufficient for this course. Except this students can get SVMCM scholarship. And also they can get chance for higher studies in abroad with scholarship.

Campus Life

The annual fest name is mesmerizer which is conducted in the Month of January and the tech fest is conducted on month of March which is called avenir. Manu books and journals are available in the library. The sports team is very active and they participate in state level and national level. There are clubs like Eco-cultural, CSR etc.

Admission

The admission done through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I give the exam and secured a rank 13096. Then I had appear in counciling. There we have select our College and on the basis of our rank College will allocated. We got multiple option for selecting College. Then I went to college and I accepted the allocation. It is a very tough competitive exam but as it is not renowned course getting admission is easier in this course. Still the aligibility for admission is that you should have science in your class 11th and 12th.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placements are normal, doesn't give very good placements but tcs and wipro visits and recruits lots of people. In 2024 tcs alone recruited 250 students from our college and other companies comes as well, mostly mass recruiters

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

I scored around 92 %ile in my JEE mains in 2022 and particupated in counselling. In my JEE mains counselling. I was not allotted a good college I was allotted some of the Government colleges like Assam University but I preferred come going to a private college over going to a college which is in north east or far from my home and even not that famous at a rank of 77000 I was allotted IT in this college.
