The campus is very beautiful and has good atmosphere..

The infrastructure should be taken more care.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and communication offers future in both software and hardware sector. The faculty here are also very well trained and PhD scholars. The teaching methods are also effective. There is one mid term and one end term exams for each semester and the exams are little tough,but you can clear them very comfortably with good preparation.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies from person to person . According to the financial background of the student the fee structure applies. Students with annual income less than 1 lakh are free from fee. Students with annual income between 1-5 lakhs are asked to pay 2/3 of the fee and above five lakhs are asked to pay full fee. Scholarship options are also available in the campus . We can apply Ffe extra.

Campus Life

Our college is very good in conducting fests. The annual technical fest tathva is the biggest technical fest in South India . It is conducted usually in the month of October. The annual cultural fest Ragam is the biggest fest in South India and it is usually conducted in March. Our library is also is very big. There are around 1.5 lakhs of books e-journals extra. Sports are also an integral part of the campus. We have many sport activities and many achievements. There are around 15 clubs which are run by students.

Admission

The eligibility of this course is jee mains. We need to qualify the exam with a very good percentile. You will avail to apply to jee mains by using jossaa portal. There are reservation benefits according to the caste system and also according to your state of eligibility. The admission process is quite good and hustle free.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
