Course Curriculum Overview

I love programming that's why I opt for CSE. There are numerous well qualified faculties many of them holds honorary doctorate degree & all of them are quite experienced in their respective subjects. Teachers are friendly and they can communicate in English, Hindi or Bengali fluently.NSEC is under MAKAUT and semester exam occurse twice a year during June and December. Exam difficulty level is decent .

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered by TCS, Cognizant, Oasis Infobyte etc. Projects on web development,app development, IOT, cybersecurity are given by those companies. These projects help to build the resume and get a good Job

Placement Experience

Placements starts from 5th semester. There are many renowned companies that visited our college such as Microsoft, Amazon, Intel other big companies are EY, Deloitte, Byjus, L&T , mass recruiters like TCS , Cognizant are also there.Our college had an 100% placement in the previous year. Highest package 50 LPA average package 5 LPA. I will go for a job after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a private college,fees are definitely higher. For the batch 2022-2026 fees was 5.6 lakhs which should be paid in installments in each semester. Fees are getting increased every year due to increased rate of placements. For economical help, there is TFW and EWS facilities and student credit card is also an option.

Campus Life

There are different types of fest that occurs in our college. Annual fest "Mesmerizer " occurs in Jan. There are departmental fest also. There is tech fest "infinto". Sufficient books are available in central Library. Classroom are well lit. Many classrooms are air conditioned and fans and lights are sufficient. All labs are air conditioned except physics and chemistry due to variation of different physical and chemical quantities at diff temperature. Sports facilities are also there. There is basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court. Cricket ground,Carrom court. Annual sport competition "zest" also occurs. There are many clubs like Eco-cultural, Google developer students club, Rotaract club etc.

Admission

Admissions can be done by WBJEE rank JEE Mains rank or direct admission. I was admitted by giving WBJEE. My Rank was 11,628 and Cut off for my branch CSE is around 12000. WBJEE admission is done on the basis of decentralised counselling in 2 rounds and there is also a mop up round. I admitted in the mop up round. In case of WBJEE, Application form is not needed it is automatically done by WBJEE website and a provisional certificate is given. Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

NSEC: Where learning meets oppurtunity

i applied to colleges like techno main saltlake, heritage, meghnad saha institute , STCET. But I preffered this college as the fees is less compared to others. Also the college is nearer to my home, which would reduce the travel time. I could'nt make to college like Jadavpur University due to low rank. For admission WBJEE rank is required with 10+2 qualification. Students need to register through wbjee counselling, fill their preferences and then colleges are alloted according to their rank. College that I got accidentally now like It so much

I choose this college because this college is in top 5 private colleges in west bengal,the admission process is like that we have to come to the college with some of our documents like 10th,12th results and wbjee result and upgradation form if we had tried to upgrade in 1st round of counseling . I had applied for heritage,techno mains salt lake,iem, netaji subhash Engineering College,narula institute of technology and many more. . Yeah I got rejected from heritage, techno mains salt lake because of my wbjee rank actually I want computer science engineering in these colleges but I didn't get it because of my rank but if I had applied for ece or any other branch definitely I will get that. .The admission process is that we have to come to the college and have to bring some documents like 10 th ,12th board results and wbjee results and upgradation form I had applied for upgradation and my adhar card pan card,the eligibility for cse is kind of like 12000 rank of wbjee and I got IT which is around 21000 in round 2 and in mop up it will be like 27000 something, I got it in 18000 rank...Read More
