Likes

The athletic environment as well as the educational environment are so good here. Teachers are so supportive.
The infrastructure of this college are good enough for the students.
The faculty members are also so good as well as the admission cell.

Dislikes

Canteen can be more hygienic . And the quality of food can be served better.
The toilets are rarely cleaned. That can be a reason to dislike this college.
Sports ground should be more available for the students who are not part of the college team

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as this course based on IT sector has the most placement oppertunity in the present and as well as the upcoming future also. Our college has very good student teacher ratio. The teaching style of our faculty members are good enough to make one studnet grow in his carrier. Here we have 2 semester in each year in this college. And candidates also go through many internals in this college.

The companies like IBM, TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, TATA MOTORS etc. come here to place the students from ME, CSE, ECE, EE, CE, AUE in their companies. Students and faculty members make different types of projects here.

Placement Experience

A student can be elgible for placement from 3rd year. But based on your skill you can get placed earlier. Our college brings Companies like Tech Mahindra, IBM, TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO and so on. Every year 80% of students get placement from this college. Here highest package is 20 lakhs, average is 5 lakhs .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for four years are fixed. But you have to pay for semester exam for each semester. You will also be benifited by different scholarships like Swamivivekananda Merit Cum Scholarship, OASIS , many private scholarships and so on.

Campus Life

Every year 1st year students get Freshers during the 1st semester and he or she also has to go through many cultural festivals , tech fests , webinars and so on. Our college has a library consisting of 30,000 books within it. We also have advanced clssrooms with projector and smart board in each room. There also has many sports facility. We have a big football stadium in our college aas well as a badimnton curt. Also different types of cultural, atheletic, tech clubs are present here.

Admission

A science student with 80% in 10th and 75% in 12th can apply in this college for B.Tech, M.Tech or for Diploma degree . The admission process can be offline or online that depends upon the candidate. But the counselling process only base on offline . If anybody want to apply online he or she can apply from the official portal of this college. you can reserve your seats here. application fees depend on which department you are willing to join in.

Interview Experience

There is no interview process in this college for getting admitted in it. You just have to eligible according to the eligibility and obviously you have to good with your body language etc. They can some basic question to check your common sense but not more thn that

Reality check

Placement Experience:

The students of 4th year are eligble for placements. Companies like TCS, capgemini, LTI mindtree have visited last year for campus placement. I ont have any official data about placdments but afer talking with seniors i can say that usually average package is of around 4 Lakhs Per Annum.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for placement but if not trained individually by doing courses from coursera or YouTube then one cannot crack exams. College forces everyone to do a course from coursera every semester in order to get a job. And some companies like Accenture stoped hiring mid way, and Wipro did not reply after 2nd round only releasing the shortlisted student list for interview, and no interview were scheduled few companies like LT midtree and cognizant DN program gave placement opportunities with LT mindtree hiring 25-30 students and DN program being the only mass hiring opportunity . The average package being 4.5-4lpa only. Till now i did not get any reply of rejection or selection process mail from cognizant and wipro, and college has no answers. Now i have to bridge my skills after college according to company to get a job.

Students can became eligible for placement from 7th semester 4th year.Many company require a minimam cgpa of 8 and no active backlog. They conduct some Aptitude test coding test Technical Interview and Hr interview. Many top company visit TMSL like TCS,Cognizant,IBM,LTI Mindtree, HCL etc. Lowest package about 2.5 lpa and average package was about 4lpa and highest package about 10lpa. Harsh but Honest

Course Curriculum Overview:

this college comes under MAKAUT university.it follows makaut syllabus.I chose this couse because this was the most hyped course at that time.faculties are average.as this is a very small college faculty student ratio is okay.i dont know much about faculty qualification.i think the HOD's are qualified but the teachers are not because i have to study all the syllabus from youtube.but the teachers are very helpfull.they are flexible in attendance.term exam were quite difficult because i am not good in cheating.now they have also cctv camera so now it is impossible for me to cheat.so i have to study the entire syllabus to pass.terms exams werre taken timely

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
