college campus is beutiful and biggest campus in india.campus life is amazing and facinating.there are meny fest which are very joyfull and there many events which are very enjoyable.so campuss life is amzing in iit kgp.
facult are also good but i think it cold be better in iit . but still they are very qualified and intelligent.infrastructure is also good and huge which consist of ol d nad new .it is very modern infrastructure which makes it best in india.
coureses offered are mainly btech , mtech ,bs ,ms phd ,llm etc.these courses are offeresd in many field such as cs , mechanical , chemical , civil, etc so courses are offered in wide range..

Dislikes

the campus is huge so travelling time in campus is high which needs very enery and time.
the campus is quite crowded due to so many coureses offered.
college location is also not that much nice as it is far from city and not near any major tourist places.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is not very hectic. Also, its placement is very good. here faculty to student ratio is 1:30.profesor are highly qualified and are Ph.D. scholars with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Exams are held twice in semester and the mid-semester exam is moderate but the end sem is quite difficult.

Internships Opportunities

internshi is offered in 5th semester and very good internships is offers.stipend also gets upto 5 lacks also.many companies like amazon,microsoft etc comes to offer internship.projets have to be do and submit.we also get inputs from clubs and societies which is in campus.

Placement Experience

placements are really good from campus.in 7th semester students are eligible for placements.there are thousands of companies which visit campus such as google , microsoft , amazon , tcs etc .highest package is 2.4 cr and average package is 19 lacks per annum .83% of students gets placed in campus placements.I will may be prepare for civil services or i will go for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 1.5 lakhs per semester including hostel fee and tuition fee. other cost of study is that much high.i did not apply for scholarship but there is many scholarship.also scholarship basis on income is also there.as income below 100000 will get 100% of tuision fee.also there is 2/3 tuision fee off for income below 5 lacks.

Campus Life

campus life is best in iit kharagpur.we have annual techno management fest which is asias biggest techno management fest kshitij and cultural fest spring fest which is held in january.iit kharagpur has asias biggest digital library.the classrooms are amazing.sports facilities are amazing and other social activities are very good.there are many groups and societies whiach is under gymkhana such a awaaz,prawah.e cell ec.

Admission

I was admitted through Jee adv. enrolled in josaa counseling and got a seat in admission. Then pay the alloted josaa fee and then a 1-semester fee of the college. I take reservations through my obc noncreamy layer. It is better to provide all information related to each branch in detail before taking admission.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
