All about IIT Kharagpur(India's largest and oldest IIT)

Because I want to get enrolled in first tier IIT college and I had only this option. Faculty:student ratio is 1:20 Faculties are either from top IITs or top foriegn universities.Teaching methodology of all faculty members are best except few. Two semester exams(mid semester and end semester) held in the period of four months.Exams are not much difficult to pass.

Hundreds of companies like Google, Microsoft, T.C.S.,J P Morgan etc offer internship in soft field like Web Development,Data Analitics,Machine Learning,Artificial Intelligence etc. Apart from tech related companies,various core companies also offer internship. Also many top foriegn universities offer research internship to students.

Student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Hundreds of companies like Microsoft,Google,Reliace,TCS,JP Morgan,Mercedes,ONGC etc visits every year and offer more than 1500+ placement offers. Highest package in the second session of 2023 was 1.69 CPA and average package was around 15 LPA. Approximately 80 percent students get placed every year. i want to enter in the field of tech and consultancy.

If your family income is above 5 lakhs per year,then you have to pay approximately 3 lakhs per year,if your family income is below 1 lakh per year,then you have to pay approximately 1 lakh per year as you will have to pay amount excluding tution fees which is 2 lakhs per year. If your family income is between 1-5 lakhs per year,then you have to pay only 1/3rd of tution fees and the rest amount which add upto 175000 approximately also if your CGPA will be greater than 7.5 at the end of first year,then you can avail MCM Scholarship provided by IIT Kharagpur due to which you will get 100 percent tution fee waiver and 1000 rupees per month upto the complition of course.

Kshitij and Spring-fest are the tech-fest and cultural-fest respectively organised by IIT Kharagpur in the month of January. Various types of books are available here in the cwntral library of IIT Kharagpur(Asia's largest technical library). Classrooms are equipped with projector screen,speakers,AC,fans,lights etc with best quality of beches and desks. Almost all sports are played here and various sports related events are organised here like General Championship,Inter IIT Sporsts Meet. Different clubs,socities,cells run by students among which E Cell,A Cell,IR Cell,GYWS,KDAG,AGV,ARK,Teamkart,ProDex etc are important.

Room is enough spacious,fans ,bed ,table ,chair are already avaiable here. Food are of good quality and mess menu changes every month. Hostels will be alloted by institute and registration for hostel will be done as you will reach the campus and hostel fees are descent. Non-residential facility is not available in the college.

75 plus percentage in 12th standard and one can appear in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced in appearing year and in the next year(drop). Form of JEEMains and JEE Advanced is availabe on NTA website. Reservation for SC,ST,OBC and General EWS category students get reservation benefits
