- The lack of a proper campus life. Like everyone and anyone can be in the premises of North or South Campus except inside college grounds
- Too much involvement of student politics. It goes to a brutal level during elections
- Work load is very much sometimes. It's difficult to handle
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to become a Professor of Physics because I love teaching and so I opted physics. Due to our admission during COVID times and being a CBCS batch, the student teacher ratio is not very very commendable. There are some lacking in individual attention. The teachers are however very highly qualified and teaching methods are quite fine and varies from faculty to faculty. The exam levels are quite high.
Internships Opportunities
I have just done one intership which was unpaid in my college itself. It gave me a flavour of research. It was under DS kothari research centre, Miranda House. My title of research area was Hall Effect and it's Application. What I loved was my research associates were from IISER and UM DAE from whom I learnt a lot.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure in DU is affordable enough. The only cost being an outstation student is the pg accommodation fees and travel expenses. Delhi being a metro politan city, travel expenses are very much high and food too. I didn't avail any monetary assistance or jab from college.
Campus Life
Annual fest is Tempest. Held in the month of April. Our Library is very well equipped.classrooms and labs are so and so. Our societies hold many creative and fun outdoor and extra curricular activities. North East Society, Miranda House is one such Society of which I am an active member.
Admission
The admission process was online. Applications were available in official website of University of Delhi including the fee and course structure which were there in their gazette. As I belonged to OBC NCL category, I was awarded a minimum concession in marks for the subject I choose. The admission process was smooth, didn't find any difficulty.
