My experience with Zakir Husain Delhi college

* i chose this course because I'm keen in learning more about economics on higher level. * Faculty: student ratio is quite ok but every professor's way of teaching is different, some are very strict regarding studies which is a good thing and some are very casual so it makes a difference between the two sections of economics which is a serious concern. * There was no proper 6 month semester. And passing the exams are quite difficult because in theory papers it's quite tough to grab marks.

* my first year fees was 8500 but 2nd and 3rd year fees was more like in 2nd it was 9500 and 3rd year was 10500 so fees hike is also a matter of concern which is increasing with time. * I didn't get any scholarship, financial assistance or any job/ internship on campus.

*fests is the central attraction of the college life and fest are conducted every year twice by different societies like environmental society, arts and craft society, etc * There's a huge collection of books in the library and the oldest library of India.

I took addmission there then it was on merit based and 95 percentage was the cutoff of my course but after our batch the system changed and now cuet entrance for UG courses is being taken by NTA and you need to register yourself on Samarth portal for entrance exam. All the application fees, details are provided by the NTA in the information bulletin which is a must read. *Reservations are there on basis of SC, ST ,OBC , etc and sports quota, NCC quota also gives a huge benefit and other reservations on the basis of region like kashmiri migrants etc. and basis on minority
