As I wanted to know more about accounts and finance I've chosen this course, this will help me to gather more knowledge about my fav subjects Teacher student ratio must be 50:1 All the faculty members have phd degree.. And they teach us very efficiently and with love nd care

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

As this a government college , fees for our course is very low...fees per semester is only 750rs. Students can apply Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholarship.. And there is also many private scholarships which can be applied

Annual fest of our college is known as "Quest" Which is held in mid of December for 3 days... There is lots of books available in the library College organizes Indoor and outdoor sports In january... And college has table tennis and carrom There's also a grup of college named "Goenka College Student Union"

Eligibility - students must have avobe 90% in hs among best of four Application form can easily find in the college website portal Cut off for reservation is slightly lower than general category No, I don't think there's need any improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I cleared my CA Intermediate along with B.com(H) as I wanted to pursue a career in finance these subjects were similar to CA Intermediate which helped me do it. Various courses requires an undergraduate degree so it is mandatory. Sem 4 and Sem 5 were most difficult according to me as many students got Supplementary exams

the reality of kd college

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.

I opted for a bachelor of commerce in accounts and finance (Hons ), the faculty was good and highly educated it was a semester based exams which mean gave a total 6 exams throughout the course, and the exam are not exactly easy to pass, I would say the paper were moderate and not so easy to pass.

Proud to be Goenkan

I got admission in Aliah University which is in New Town Kolkata I got rank 12. I applied in Shri Shikshathan College also and got admission in first list. I rejected both the colleges as Aliah University though it is a reputed college but the placement committee is not as good as Goenka College of commerce. I applied for BBA + MBA integrated program in Aliah University but I wanted to pursue BCom honours in accountancy and finance thus I rejected Aliah University. Shri shikshayatan college on the other hand is another reputed college in which I applied for bcom honours in accountancy and finance I rejected Shri shikshayatan college as no doubt Goenka College is way more better than Shree shikshayatan and Shri shikshayatan is comparatively very much expensive in comparison with goenka. Shri shikshayatan takes around 250000 tuition fee on the other hand Goenka College charges only 4090 rs for 4 years....Read More
