Burdwan Raj College offers variety of courses. They conducts regular exams and the facilities are so helpful and experienced. They provides a comprehensive curriculum with practical relevance. To enhance it further, focusing on soft skills industry exposure and customisation would benefit students.

Placement Experience

After completing 6th semester they will provide limited placement from campus. Basically HDFC, Kotak Mahindra,Yes Bank comes to our college and take students. They gave average 1.5 to 2.5 LPA per year.

The Campus is very good. I enjoyed every moments. They will conduct a annual fest where dance, music performance happes and big celebrities comes on that day. The library has full of books where you find your essential books and collect from there or read it there.

After I passed 12th in commerce stream then I was looking for a college to study for Bcom, I found the best college in Burdwan district is Burdwan Raj College and I got the admission there. For admission in this college you need to get 50% in 12th.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before....Read More
