Likes

Teaching is very well.The teachers are very good.
The practical was conducted very well.Coding was practiced thoroughly in the lab.
They were taught well before the project was given.

Dislikes

Campusing was not done in college.They say camping is happening but it's not happening.
No placements are given. No placements have been received.
No extra facilities provided .The building is very old. No new developments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I loved computer subjects from the very beginning. After HS, I decided to do BCA, I had a desire to learn coding since I was a child.After taking BCA, coding seemed a bit difficult, but my sirs in our college explained C language easily.

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

28000 fees had to be paid annually.I had to pay 24000 rupees at the time of admission. I had to pay 10000 admission fee and 14000 for 1st semester. I used to pay 14200 per semester. The exam fee was 1350 rupees. The tuition fee was 1000. I applied for a scholarship from college, the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. I received 18000 rupees per year.

Campus Life

Our college had a festival at the end of the year called Sankalp. Very nicely organized. There were no sports in college.There was a library, but there weren't that many books.There was unity among everyone in the department. Sometimes, everyone would do some new function together.

Admission

I heard that other colleges also offer placements in our college. Compared to other colleges, Sir and Madam guide us very well in our college. Our college is very disciplined compared to other colleges. Teachers are very friendly.

Faculty

There were 6 semesters. .I used to go to another college to give exams. The exam papers were checked by the other college sir. I did very well in every semester but the database paper was very hard. 11 students of the college failed. Most of them failed in the 4th and 5th semesters.

Night Life

The campus opened at 10 am and closed at 5 pm. The college had a boys' gym. Students used to hang out outside the college till 8 pm. There was a tea shop outside the college and there was a boys' hostel inside the college.The girls' hostel is outside the college.

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus. Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

About my college

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before....Read More
