Course Curriculum Overview

i choose this course because this is the most reputed and on demand course of todays time. i have interest in cse from my childhood. this course is technology based which is very interesting and this course has amezing placement scenerio. our college is the top 5 engineering college of west bengal and it has large no of best of the best faculty members .our college has 1 teacher for every 20 students . faculty student ratio is 1:20. most of the faculty members are phd holders . most of them has degree from iit and more reputed colleges. they are very friendly. they teach very well . in our college internal theory and practical exams are happed twice and one final sem. exams are quite standerd level .

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

college fees is 5.5 lakh for 4 years for all engineering students . for mba , bba , bsc and other course students the course fee is different. college also provide scholarships, financial assitance and also they provide us loan facilites. and for west bengal domicile students there are many goverment scholarships are also availble . college provide us good placement too with multiple job offers and internships with more then 6 lpa averge ctc.

Campus Life

our college has many clubs , subclubs , techwings and many more. they frequently conduct many events , programme, seminer etc. our annual fest name is anakronas which is hosted by out cultural club . it is one of the biggest fest ever in the whole west bengal. they conduct this fest around february to march month every year. college library has a vast ammount all academic books journals etc. more than 500000 books are availble here. our college classroom are well equiped with air conditioned, separte benches cctv , fire alarm distinguisher, boards digital projector and many more. every year our college oraganise annual sports competion , inter collge sports. and also they participte in varius other sports like cricket , football, kabbadi, voleyball etc. our college students also participte in state level sports and also win them. most club websites are made by our own college students like eclectica.tmsl , samartians tmsl etc.

Admission

To be eligible for this course you have to appear in the West Bengal joint entrance examination or jee mains exam or you can get admission through management quota too. The application form for this exam starts from the end of October to November. Wbjee exam fees are 500. There are no reservations in West Bengal private colleges. In government colleges, there are 10% reservations for sc/st/obc and 10% for west Bengal domicile students.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
