Dislikes

Government scholarships not available for non west bengal student
if you do not know bengali, you will face a little problem
campus is not too big. Its a bit small. Thatswhy its ground is outside the college. heehe

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosen Information technoloy because i want to go into IT sector. Faculties are very much good. they help us a lot in each and every thing. exams happen according to makaut as college is affiliated by makaut. If you study hard, you will definately pass with good marks.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

I m jus 2nd year student. This year there is less placement not only in my college but every college..due to receession time. but many of them are placed in good companies this year also like accenture . Average package is 7lpa and highest package on campus is 42lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarships only available for west bengal student which is the only thing that i don;t like about this college. otherwise if you want student loan or private loan , its available in this college. for 4years of my b.tech course , it takes 5.5lac

Campus Life

there are many clubs of different types which include GNX, GDSC, Eco cultural club, Phoenix, Rotaract Club etc. Dancing singing playing tech clubs all are available. Life is very much cool. My college has annual fest named mesmerizer. it happened just 2 days ago. It was very much good. Tushar joshi the famous singer came. Also, it has a central library and a reading room where you can go and study with a free wifi facility. Also it has many departmental libraries.

Admission

Exam name- WBJEE Eligibility- 12th pass Appliation form- Online Application fees-400rs Reservation type- 10% seats are reserved for bengali student You have to just fill the form, you will get admit card. Go for the examination. There will be certain cutoffs. If you are an average studennt you will definately get a good college.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
