One bad thing is that college doesn't have closed boundary so sometime local people interfere in campus life college is outside of town so transportation facility is not good college has its own bus service but that is not enough.

AIEEE , now it this exam renamed as jee mains i got all india rank 10584 in core sector this branch is perfect.

Course curriculum is same as iit most of faculty are excellent there is good infrastructure for research and training.

There are both paid and unpaid internship for paid internship, one has to qualify entrance conducted by companies there is also pre placement offer program by companies there are companies like tata group, jindal and many more faculty also helps in getting internship.

Almost every one from my batch were placed there were almost 45 companies of core sector visited for campus placement.

Technical fest is called "ojass" and cultural fest is "utkarsh" these are biggest fest in east india after iit kgp' fest also every year college organize sports meet for own college and inter college sports and cultural fest is organized frequently.

There are 13 hostel out of 11 for boys and 2 for girls every one get hostel accomodation in first and second year shared room is provided and in 3rd and 4th year single room is given to each candidate there 2 mega hostel hostel rent is nominal 500/sem mess is not upto the mark.

There is one scholarship by jindal group called in name o p jindal but this is all india basis and one have to pass entrance of it for sc/st candidate there are scholarship given by govt one can easily get loan from banks i got education loan from sbi without any hassle.

Campus life is fantastic gender ratio is very odd in my class out of 73 student only 5 girls were there people from every part of country were there right from kashmir to north east and south there were almost every game facility present there separate field for cricket, hockey football and indoor badminton court and table tennis court in each hostel there are many technical and cultural group.

Every year in month of feb college organize alumni meet seniors are quite helpful there is also a separate forum for alumni.
