The College campus is so beautiful. It is full of greenery. Completely lush green campus.
This College is completely a core branch college. So Metallurgy branch of this College is best one.
Percentage and average package of placement is very good.

Dislikes

The campus of this College is so small. It has only 65 acres of area.
There is no coding culture in thethis college.
There is only one sports ground in this College. So seniors doesn't allow freshers to play.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is completely related to my branch. As our main subject is Basic Metallurgical Engineering. We are also studying Engineering drawings and computer graphics. Professors are so helpful. They teach with maximum of their potential.

Internships Opportunities

After third or fourth semester students are eligible for internships. Many of our seniors have been interned in maharatna PSUs like SAIL. College helps its most for internships. There are two internships every year one is summer internship and second one is winter internship.

Placement Experience

Placements of this College is very good. As I have heard from seniors, professors and I have read in college website average package of this College is 9.2 LPA. Also this year placements percentage was almost 95%. Cmpanis like Tata Steel, JSW, L&T and many other good companies recruite from this College with very good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of is college is 569500 for 4 years of btech program. Per year the fees of this College is 139000 including hostel and mess charges. There is no scholarship from college But you can fill some private and government scholarship forms.

Campus Life

I am enjoying the campus life so much. The College campus is completely ragging free. Every classroom has projectors. There is also a NGO ran by the students of college which is named as KARTAVYA FOUNDATION. There is also a racing club named as NIFFT RACING. And a coding club HACKATHON CLUB.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility of this College is extraordinary. I am residing in Homi J Bhabha hostel which is for first year students. The hostel facilities are so good. After every 2 days bathroom and toilets are cleaned. Also the mess is very good. Also Quality of food and hygiene mantainance is outstanding.

Admission

I chose this College because I have so much interest in core branches like Metallurgy branch or Chemical engineering branch. One more reason of choosing this College is its location. Ranchi is not a metropolitan city but weather of Ranchi is so pleasant. Also placements of this College is outstanding.

Faculty

Faculty members of this College is good. Every one has great teaching experience. There are two exam every semester one mid semester exam and second is end semester exam. Mid semester exam is of 20 marks and end semester exam is of 70 marks. Remaining 10 marks is given as per attendance and assignments.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

We had very little companies for placement ibm and hcl came for bpo jobs.. About 80% left with no jobs after completing the session... Very poor placement opportunities. After completing the jobs most of us went to banglore for searching jobs... We had placement if any after completing 8 semesters We had ibm and hcl but they asked for donations before giving jobs. Packages were 3.6 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. Overall 20% got placement. I prepared for Government exams after completing my degree.

I choose B tech in Computer. Student ratio is more than 100. Teachers are very good. All qualified teachers. Semester were there and exams were done on that basis. Very month, we have to give a class test also.

LIFE IN NIT JAMSHEDPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this was the branch I was getting through my JEE score. Faculty student ratio is 3:100. All the professors here are highly qualified and had phd from top colleges of the worl. There research has been published by many publications ,many of them had written books and got published . there researchs are famous world wide . The teaching method of professor is very good they explain the topics upto which it is necessary to be known. Exams here are held timely ,2 semesters per year and the level of question paper is moderate.

I applied for DTU, Jadhavpur University and MS Ramaiah institute of technology but in above 2 college I didn't get admission due to low rank while fees of MS college was too high and unaffordable.
