Remarks

For Admission one must sit forWBJEE or JEE mains. Then after e counselling you will be called for document verification and then you will be admitted after paying the Admission fees. The Admission fees is about 91,500, which is subjected to change every year

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE because of future opportunities and flexibility. About 15 teachers for 200+ student in my department. The exams are subject to MAKAUT but frequent class test are held for continuous assessment of students

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 178000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Since I'm a 1st year student I have not come across any opportunities but from what I've heard anyone willing to do unpaid internships can apply and there are many such opportunities for willing students.

Placement Experience

I guess the one can sit for placements after 7th sem. A lot of companies visit mostly mass recruiters like Accenture, Wipro and TCS. The highest on campus packages are not even 13lpa and average is about 4-5 lpa. Although I have heard rumours about some one placed with a package of 35lpa off campus. However I plan to do my Mtech after I graduate for a better lifestyle.

Fees and Financial Aid

This Particular Institute has a pretty high fees. A total of 6.5 L for 4 yrs... Although if u are from TFW background then only the admission fees is high around 75k and the rest of the sem fees are less than 2k. One can apply for student loan but no scholarship is provided as per my knowledge.

Campus Life

The campus is very small. Only a small shop in the name of canteen. Not too huge of a library just enough to be considered one and a average reading room. One badminton court a single table tennis and a few carrom boards are available dominated by seniors two separate and small fields used for kabaddi volleyball and cricket practice. Fests are quite good, Mesmerizer the cultural fest and the tech fest are quite big and successfully held every year after COVID.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
