I chose to do B.Tech because I have always dreamt of becoming an Engineer. I love to know whats the mechanism behind the complex machines, computer. The student faculty ratio is 1:5 . Qualification of faculty is that some of them has done PhD and some of them are persuing PhD. Our faculties are well qualified and gives his/her best to teach us new things but sometimes they just can't make us understand the concept. The subjects of our course is selected according to our future need, but the non CGPA courses are something which I personally can't understand. The semester exams contain two parts - MID SEM and END SEM. MID SEM takes place within 2 months of the staring of the semester and END SEM within 2-3 months from MID SEM. If you have all the class notes and attended the lectures regularly , you can pass the exam with 2 days of preparation.

TCS, WIPRO , CAPPGEMINI and many other companies offres paid internship. I don't know about stipend as I am not elegible for internships yet. To get an on-campus internship a student must have a CGPA 8.5 and above , and no backlogs are allowed. Seniors could give a good explanation of the projects for on-campus jobs and interviews.

From 7th semester we become eligible to sit for on-campus job interviews. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, CAPPGEMINI, ACCENTURE and many others companies which are not as famous as these also visit for recriutment. Since I am not eligible yet I can't tell my personal experience about the number of offers made. Most of the students get on-campus placements if they don't have any backolgs, and if they meet the basic eligibility criteria of having CGPA of 8.0 to 9.9 . Students can also opt for off-campus jobs for better salary, and some students even don't sit for placement rounds to prepare for higher studies such as GATE, CAT. As I heard from seniors average salary package is 3.5L on-campus jobs. I want to get a job after completion of the degree and then maybe go for higer studies.

The fees structure of most of the private colleges of Kolkata are almost same( 4-4.5L). The fees structure may vary from student to student because of the scholarship the college provides, like I have discussed in the admission section , and all the WB Board student gets the SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SCHOLAESHIP. When the fee hikes , then all the colleges follows the same policy and not any particular college/University. The semester fee covers the tuition fees, library fee, extra-curriculum fees and from 4th semester there is also beyond curriculum fees, all in the tution fees. If any student wants to pay the tution fees with STUDENT CREDIT CARD it is also accepted via education loan. I haven't reached that semester where college provides us an internship or allow us to sit for on-campus placement. Generally it starts from 3rd or 4th year.

There is no website run by the students. We have a techfest that is held from time to time namely CODEFEST. We have a google developers student club which conduct these techfest. There are plenty of books and journals available over wide range of subjects throughout the library. The ambiance of the library is very good, allowing the students to focus on their works. The classroom of our University is better than other private colleges. Some of our classes are also held in auditoriums which are well equiped. Since our University is still in the initial years sometimes there are lack of benches in some classrooms given the student count. We have University football, cricket and volleyball teams and every year we recruit new players from every semester from our University.

I passed 10th and 12th with a percentage of above 90%. But if you want to admit your candidate he/she must have secure minimum 70% in both the boards exam. Your candidate can also take direct admission by giving JET Examination. The candidates can get upto 30% scholarship if he/she secures more than 90% in class 12. This scholarship depends on your academic performance, and according to that the tution fees of every semester is shown. Therefore , every student have different fees structure according to the scholarship amount each student gets. Whether you have given WBJEE or JEE , it is mandatory to give the JET examination, and you have to pass the examination.
