Remarks

Overall it lives upto your expectations. The college has good infrastructure. All the classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and seminar halls are good.

Internships Opportunities

the college does not provide any internship but they do have some sponsored internship to elite students if you are highly good in academics they will try to provide an internship to a company over which you can polish your skills.

Placement Experience

placement is quite good but the core companies never come in our college only information technology companies visit us offering about 3.4 lak package on an average and all the core stream also get placement in these companies only.

College Events

there is one cultural event synopsis which is a 3-day event in which 2 days everyone participates in event of there own choice and then 3 day is the closing day where the finale of each event takes place which is followed by the closing ceremony including DJ night or a guest appearance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee is quite affordable about 50k per semester. Rs 59000/sem. everyone has an option to pay the fee in installment if there is any serious issue with the family or otherwise.

Fees and Financial Aid

Usually there is no such problem for loan even all banks are ready to give loan at low rate of interest. Even there is bank at our college also which provide easily loan at low rate of interest as well as their prosedure is also easier.

We do still have connect with our batch mates and seniors. And we do arrange alumni meet once in a year to cherish our old memories and to meet our faculty.And also guide our juniors to do better

Hostel Facilities

hostel is inside the campus with all the facilities food is great i mean better than other mess and pg food. they have only 3 seater rooms. and the fee s about 70000 per year.

Exam Structure

exams are every month of 30 marks and labs are fully equipped and there is no limitation to access any lab at any times. its not easier to get internals so just focus on college mid terms

the faculty is highly educated we have many nit postgraduate teachers and they provide us with great knowledge and experience they have of past. they even inspire student to present paper also.

Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies. Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%) Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

Punjab Engineering College through an Unfiltered lens .

Placement Experience:

placement stats of my college is great. Better than most of the colleges out there . Even better than many NITs and IIITs , with an avg package of 14-16 LPA . And every year the Median and Avg package is increasing . Highest package till now - 83 LPA . Students are allowed for campus placements after 5th semister All the big companies out there , from Google , microsoft , amazon to Delloete , JP Morgan , AmericanExpress , to seimens, oracle , L&T , all companies come here . around 70-75% students gets placed from here My plan is to get the highest paying job offer possible for me , that's it .

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
