Remarks

To get in NSEC B.tech in CSE (as of 2022) you have to have a rank under 12,400 in WBJEE. For any admission details students can visit the official website of NSEC. The admission is quite easy. They follow the norms set by the WBJEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was very interested in learning about this subject. Our faculty members are highly skilled and are very helpfull and kind. There teaching skills are good. The exams are conducted as per the intructions of MAKAUT.

There are lot of internship oppurtunities. There are oppurtunities for students to get paid internships here. With the right mentoring and skills students can get these opportunities. Teachers are very helpfull in these matters.

Placement Experience

As of 2022, the highest package recieved was 32LPA. Our college has an average salary of 6LPA. 131 CSE students recieved placement from the CSE stream. Companies like TCS, Wipro, SAP, SUN pharmacy etc have offered jobs in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees differs for every session , as of now the fees has increased in 2023 compared to the fees of 2022. All scholarshings provided by the government can be availed. Schema like Student Credit Card, Swami Vivekananda scholarships are valid here.

Campus Life

There are various different clubs in which students can participate in. There are fest that are department specific. But our biggest events are Prelude(the freshers) and Mesmeriser. Our college has the facility of library , sports(both indoor and outdoor).

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
