Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum includes both practical subjects as well as theory subjects. Faculty student ration is 1:80 approx. I choose this course because I was a science student and I was interested in learning about biology. All my teachers are well qualified. All are masters in their respective subjects and phd holders. All are net qualified. Exams are 6 monthly and are very easy to pass. Class Size : 100
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are good. Many companies visit our college with good stipend level. Like dell, noise, reliance, etc. Average stipend 5000 Roles offered consultant finance hr etc. Projects like financial tasks, marketing etc. Some companies have restrictions upon the courses that are eligible for the internship, while some of them are open to students of all courses.
Placement Experience
Most of the students in this course pursue Msc after completing their bachelors. Scope of employability is high only after PHD. However, some students manage to get a job through the college placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is high as compared to other colleges such as Hindu College, Kirori Mal College. Annual fee of my course is Rs 26925. Scholarships are offered to students often who are in the EWS category. Getting placed is rare in my course, but still some people manage to get a placement in areas such as consulting and management.
Campus Life
Confluence is the annual fest. It is conducted in March. Books and journals are available. It is a very good and well managed library. Life at campus is good. Social life is amazing. Societies and clubs are well functioning. Classrooms are well ventilated. Sports facilities are available in good range.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Rooms are small but furnished. Table and chairs are available. Meal quality is average. There is no air conditioner and no heater. Registration process is easy. A form is to be filled and on base of that hostel is alloted
Admission
Admission process was not that much difficult but it required your patience throughout the process... Your journey starts with the CUET application form. You have to fill the application form and select the required combination of subjects to be eligible for the criteria of your desired college and course. Then give the exam after hard preparation. Preparation should be from smart work not hard work as exam is objective and very easy. It just needed our presence of mind and some patience. After result declaration, you will get your raw score. After some time you will get your normalised score and after that you will fill your preference sheet for different colleges and course. After the allotment, you will be alloted your college and course according to your marks and category. As I was from general category, I got hansraj college, bsc zoology at 541 out of 600 in 3 subjects (physics, chem, bio).
