Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTech in CSE- Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning because I got that much rank to secure a seat in that category. The faculty student ratio is 1:15. The faculties are well qualified and good teachers but have average teaching experience. The mid term exam has not been started yet.

Internships Opportunities

As a fresher I don't exactly know about internship opportunities at Techno Main Salt Lake but I heard about some internship opportunities in the field of CSE-Artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is 5.5 lakhs for the entire course i.e.4 years..while the college demands 1.5 lakhs for the first year. The cost to study is nominal. The college provides scholarships to the students of West Bengal and North Eastern states of India. The seniors there guides the freshers friendly...

Campus Life

There are five official clubs at our college. They organise various sports events and fests. Recently a cricket tournament was organised by the sports club and the annual fest is going to be held on 26th January this year...

Admission

I get into this college through WBJEE. The course demands a maximum of 10000 rank. It's application form is available on the official website of WBJEE at application fees was 500 for general category. The college provides reservation to the Minorities and West Bengal Students.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
