Placements are decent as I mentioned before
Academic life is chill. They don't bring unnecessary load on students except IT department

Short campus. The campus is very very small
Racism in college. More preference to Bengali students

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is a mixture of both software and hardware subjects. You can either go to tech companies and non tech options are also available. Faculty members are also good but again this college is in Bengal so there is racism based on where you are from

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 116000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No such internships opportunities. Internship opportunities are very less provided. Some companies like Accenture and Salesforce come for internship. Internship opportunities are not that good. Mostly placements

Placement Experience

Like most of the private colleges in Kolkata it offers an average package of 4LPA(overall) and 6LPA(tech branches). The highest package on campus is 9LPA. Placements are decent.(not to good neither bad) as this college is the 3rd best private college of Wbjee

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee structure is 4.95 lakhs. Per semester wise it is 58k but it increases annually. See this is the fees for 2021-25 batch. You can also get many west bengal government schorloships like SVCM.

Campus Life

The campus is short as it is located in the tech town of kolkata. There are many fests and events going around throught the year. The biggest fest of eastern India EDGE happens in TMSL. There are two playgrounds as well.

Admission

You have to qualify WBJEE exam. You can find this form on WBJEE.nic.in. It will cost you 300rs and dates are varied you can check on website . To take admission in my course you should have a rank under 40k.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
