The weather and campus life. Faculties are also very good and responsible.
Friendly environment and enough areas to spend time.

Shortage of campus, large campus required.
Transportation system is not good.Train facilities available here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here faculty students ratio is respectively 40:1200 . I choose Electrical Engineering because I have to go for gate exam and I am very curious to know about Electrical and electronics. Here faculties are very friendly and teaches nice, their teachings methods are also good they tried their best to teach students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 43200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a government engineering College, there is not any fees hike . Total fees for the course Rs43200 for core branches and for CSE and ECE it's approx Rs57600 excluding hostel fees. SVMCM, AIKYASHREE, NSP these scholarships are available.

Campus Life

Campus environment is good, there has enough playground. Temperature is slightly higher than other areas of West Bengal. Since it located at Purulia so it's not unexpected. The college is located approx 19 km way from Purulia main town.

Admission

You can get admission after qualifying WBJEE as per your rank you will get chance to admit. Otherwise, you can get admission by lateral entry from JELET exam. All seats are reserved for home state Kota, from another state you will not eligible for getting admission here.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard.
