The college faculties are quite helpful and its very much supporting
Its placements are quite average but most of the students gets placed
It is under techno group and its quite known in India

Dislikes

Its Sports facility is very bad as its ground is very small

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly the course curriculum is quite outdated the student teacher ratio is quite good Most faculties are phd holders the university is worse it is difficult to pass makaut but if you want to take admission they should take as it's environment is good

Internships Opportunities

Most of those who got internships are those who applied through off campus and they get quite a good stipend in internship and the most students of circuital branchea such as CSE, IT ECE and specialiazation gets most internship

Placement Experience

Placements in general are quite average evey year the highest package goes to 50 to 60 lpa but mostly those are off campus but in on campus only service based companies come such as wipro tcs capgemini infosys and cognizant

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike per year is going crazy as fees in previous year fees was 5 lakhs but this year it is 625000 and in West Bengal we get Swami Vivekananda Scholarship by West Bengal Government which is 60000 per year if you get 60 percent

Campus Life

College life is quite good we have events and various things going on throughout the year and there are plenty of books available in library but the sports facility is not good as their is literally no ground in college but you can play indoor games

Admission

I got admission through wbjee and the cutoff till second round was about 37k rank in wbjee in third round it is unpredictable how much the cutoff will go so I can say for ece you can expect 30k as the cutoff

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
