Akriti's Review On Maitreyi College, New Delhi

It's one of the best colleges of south campus when it is about studying. It's a great experience to be a part of Maitreyi college, a star college and one of the best colleges of south campus.

There are no entrances for the course i chose. It is a merit based process. Cut offs are released on the basis of which admission process is done. I was eligible for course after the cut off was released. Then i had to report in the college so that they can match my marks with the released cut off and at the last fees was paid online and the admission process was completed.

It is one of the best course. Maitreyi college is known for the same corse i.e. bsc(H) zoology as this course is one of the main reasons that Maitreyi College has been titled as the Star college

Not for my course. I do not have any idea for the other courses.

It's a bsc (H) zoology course. So most of the students after completing their graduation don't want to go for jobs as they don't get jobs for which they are paid a good amount They want to continue with their studies in which ever way they want. So a less no. of students are placed

Since i have joined the college, programs such as Fresh face 2k17, Freshers 2k17, Diwali mela etc have been organised in the college campus.

yes, it is affordable. Its approx 8000 per year. I had to pay aprox rs 6500 at the time of admission and rs 1100 as the examination fees. Being a government university, fees is affordable.

Yes, scholarships are provided to the toppers, minority classes, etc. Right now i do not avail for any of them.

In Terms of extracurriculars, it is the best. There are various societies which provide you with the platform to explore your talents. The facilities are also good.

They are no hostels. We are accomodated in pgs. Due to the same reason, pgs here are too expensive. Its mere a money making business. I'm paying rs5000 for a single bed, not even for a room. There are 3 beds in a single room, too conjusted. They won't provide you with food. Accommodation is the biggest problem and is too expensive.

They are very less interactive. A freshers was organised for the interaction but i wasn't an interaction but a kind of party to enjoy with your friends. Yes, they contribute.

Somedays, they are tiring.

There are very educated and experienced teachers. They are strict.Yes, they are interactive
