As this coase have high demand across the globe and I am passionate of my subject biotechnology . In our gender ratio is 50-50 all members of class is too sharp minded . An aou faculty are PhD holder and we'll qualified .xm is easy or moderate

Fees and Financial Aid

College is taking 1.25 lake per year for academic as well as hostel fee includes many fee waivers program also there for sc/st and less than below 1 lakh income . Many scholarships provided by state government as well as central like nsp and e Kerala grantz for Kerala students

Campus Life

It's good and excellent for maintaining the campus. In library,they are providing books "whatever we need". We had a sports club like inter-nit and etc in all games like cricket, volleyball, football etc..

Hostel Facilities

Room facilities are good . When we come to mess , it is different from the home . They provide low quality in mess food. They registered in hostel app according to campus. I am not in pg , I am in UG .

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

It's very easy if will get 95 percentile above. U will get admission in this college all the admission process done by online and obc and sc st people have fee waivers full or partial in the academic year

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
