It is new, good and a learning experience

It is a good college and crowd is also good. Seniors are very helpful. My experience,so far has been really nice.

Admission was based on merit.The college had issued cutoff lists and as I cleared the third cutoff I choose maths hons in Arsd as i love mathematics since childhood and want to pursue it further in my career.

Bsc(Hons)Maths is a really good course. Practicals are conducted on regular basis. There are research programs for interested students and the "Star Scheme" in our college provides funds for the same. I have Computer Science as my elective subject as I studied CS in school uptil 12th.

As mentioned earlier there is a placement cell which helps student from all years for internship. I haven't applied for internship yet.Moreover, the placement cell organizes skill development workshops and motivational talks by eminent speakers. The skill development cell is also a separate society.

There is a common placement cell in DU which helps students for internship. There is not really great scope of jobs just after bsc. So no idea about companies that visit campus.However, the college has established a placement cell which guides the students towards job opportunities in various fields.

There are college fest and fests of different societies. Recently we had an exhibition organized by Enactus arsd selling products made from old clothes and it generated hefty funds for social causes. The fests and functions are well organized so there is hardly any disrupt in the general discipline of the college.

Fee structure is quiet affordable it is Rs 11575 per annum. Moreover, we have to pay an additional fees of Rs 910 for the external exams every semester.

Yes it provides scholarships to students who cannot afford the fees . But i did not avail any, Only an application with certain financial details is needed to be submitted in the college office to avail them

There are many societies which help you explore your talent. Enactus for entrepreneurship, NSS , Nimbus the debating society, NCC and many more. Each society carries out its interviews to choose its members.

No hostels in our college,The entire south campus of Delhi University has only one hostel and most students therefore, stay in PGs. I pay 12000Rs food included but the quality of life here in Satya NIketan where my PG is situated is just above average and not that good

We have a decent alumni network and from time to time the college organizes seminars and sessions with the alumni so that we can interact and learn more from their experiences in college and life.

Exams and lab schedule is not hectic.Labs are generally twice a week. We have internals every month or every two months and externals at the semester end. The course is vast enough to keep us on our fetes nevertheless at the end it is a chill culture.

Most teachers have doctorate degree. My course teachers are interactive and helpful. We have doubt classes every week where interested students can put as many questions as they want and the teachers solve them willingly and are well versed with the syllabus.
