For me getting into PEC was like a Dream coming true, the exposure and the platform the college has provided me is great.
Entrance Preview
I have given JEE Mains exam through which I got into PEC, and I got Pec through JAC counseling. NO it was only on basis of rank in JEE no interviews, I got this as I had interest in this automobile and wanted to work in this in future.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is quite good, We had workshops started in 2nd semester itself which is very good for practical learning, We are told to do research under the professors or during vacations.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, we can do internships under the professors but the stipend is very less.
Placement Experience
The placements are good here, with almost 95% getting placed and we have many Tier1 and Tier 2 companies visiting the campus and giving hefty package, The major companies visiting the campus are Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan, McKinsey, General Electric, DE Shaw, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Hero,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very much nominal compared to other colleges of same level like Thapar University.
Hostel Facilities
There is Single rooms and the hostel food is good and both the price of hostel and mess are quite cheap.
Exam Structure
The labs are quite good and interesting in which you learn lot of things so there is no point of getting tired.
Faculty
Almost all the faculty is doctorate and that too from IITs or other renowned colleges and not only this have many years of teaching experience also, not only this they are really interactive and easily approachable. The teaching standard is good both numerical and theoretical part along with practical, and not only this now we got MOOCs compulsory also.
