Entrance Preview
I took jee main as well as cbse class12 examination for taking admission into this college. As I got a decent AIR in jee main I was able to get this college. There was no interview process that followed. I had options bw mechanical, electrical and civil so I preferred mechanical over them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is going fine. There are labs for various courses which are held regularly. There are various professors and students who are doing many research projects. Various elective courses include prodection engineering, automobile engineering, designing, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internship are basically provided in IT or consultancy companies. With average stipend of 15000p.m.
Placement Experience
Almost everyone lands up with a job in our college with some even getting double placement offers. There are more non core placements. Average package is around 6lakhs. Various companies were Amazon, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Goldman Sachs ,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is fine as compared to other private colleges as it is semi government college. Total fees is around 4,80000 for 8 semesters and for hostel it is 60000 p.a. with a mess bill of 1300 p.m.
Hostel Facilities
I am reciding in Hostel. There were double sharing rooms during 1st year and afterwards single rooms are available. Hostel charges 60000p.a. Food is alright as compared to the mess of other govt. colleges but ot not really that good.
Exam Structure
It is a chill culture here except the fact that 2 mid-terms are conducted on a single day with no holiday in between.
Faculty
Most of faculty is phd qualified with experience of 10yrs or above. But various teachers are also the ones who are currently doing phd, most of whom are not good in teaching.
