Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

About faculty and college everything is good as expected in a particular college and teaching process are also improving day by day. More involvement of students is required for the same. More effective methods for teaching are required.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Base hospital and other colleges such as VMMC RML AND NDMC offer great opportunities. We can also clear pg examination to get admission in these colleges We can serve Indian Army after graduation and can also become MO

Placement Experience

3

We get placements in our own base Hospital and as well as in other government hospitals as ug graduates. We can also become tutor in our college or in other college I want to pursue PG from any government medical college

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost is kind of high minimum one lakh should be lowered and more improvement in our fees hike should be maintained and proper norms for the same are required. Financial assistance is give through scholarships and more help should be given for the same.

Campus Life

3.5

Aura is the annual fest required. Proper books are given and all the facilities are available and a list of activities takes place in the college and many different clubs are also there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Best part of college is our hostel. One of the best hostel in delhi i guess. Very neat and clean and a lot of plants and tress are also there. Hostel rooms are available for almost all students And Rented pgs are also available near hostel

Admission

Admission takes place through entrance exam and the whole counselling was online and in the basis of reservation. I want to remove the reservation and want admission purely on the basis of marks. More involvement of students and colleges on the same is required.

Lady Hardinge Medical College - [LHMC], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has been revised in 2019 and the new curriculum (CBME: Competency-Based Medical Education) is all about patient-based approach and clinical approach which is very amazing since that's how we'll be dealing with patients in real life. The faculty of Lady Hardinge is amazing as long as you're willing to learn. The practical sessions especially are the best since you get to see everything you've learnt in theory. The syllabus is very vast and it's very difficult but you can do fairly well if you go through it consistently. The term exams are held before each semester and after every year you need to give professional exams also known as 'proffs'. You'll have to pass the proffs in order to be promoted to next year which is very easy if you have a grip on the basics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college has 4 to 5 permanent faculties and 2 faculty from the base hospital Delhi Cantt. in each department. That is 1 teacher for approx 15 students. The teachers are all super specialised in their respective fields and mostly all are very efficient in teaching while following the latest MCI guidelines. there are a total of 4 exams a student has to give mid-term, end terms, pre-proof and proofs. The exams are all designed to ensure that the passing students are eligible to be called doctors but not so tough as to fail a lot of students. An average result has about 15 fails in 100 students

Remarks:

I did my MBBS from NDMC Medical College which was worth it. The college has great education system with a good faculty and nice campus with a green cover. The college has a hostel but it is not as good so I would recommend staying outside campus. The training programmes and practicals bring in depth to studying at this college.

Remarks:

There is no negative news about this college, everything is best here. Few points on aiims -*College management is also perfect. *Faculty members never tried to shun their responsibilities with respect to teaching, research and patient care. Senior students were required to teach their juniors on a regular basis, even in OT's (operation theatre). *Get together were organised during celebrations of important festivals which included admitted patients. All religions were given importance.
