Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is for 1 year within the Base hospital . You have to do all your duties and they have a paid internship of 25000 /month . It will lower your burden from home .you have all your postings like PSM medicine ,surgery,Ent ,

Fees and Financial Aid

In the year 2019 when I joined my college the tution fees was 4.32 lakh and with other charges it was 4.67 lakh . But from 2021 batch it was decreased to 3.60 lakh as tution fees and which was constant till 2024

Campus Life

4

Overall experience is good . I have joined drama club from my first year and do some skits for the college . It gave me a calming and interactive actively I love to do in my college life . The infrastructure is good with good hostel and college too

Hostel Facilities

5

I am in hostel from the starting they take 3500 /month for the hostel rent and 3600/month for the mess . The food is good to eat but u have to eat same food for 5.5 years . That's make a difference but overall is good

Admission

The college I choose because of some strong reasons and the reasons are listed below - The IPU quote is the biggest reason to join the college . -The seat matrix and less seats attract me because it gave a good interaction with the teachers . Which help me lot to become a good doctor

Faculty

4

* The faculty to student ratio is good it's around 5 student per teacher . Teachers always helps the students in the academic and outer life problems also " I personally like Dr shifalli ma'am of anatomy from my first year . It was great meeting ma'am. She helpede lot in my anatomy and other activities too

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not any such reason, i would like to save some lives and happiness of their families They fill you with knowledge by the end of your course, you start feeling like a doctor during rural posting. Teaching methods - just make more effective use of posting time , allow us to see patients by second yr and don't make attendence pressure in theory classes, we study by ourselves There is 2 term of each sub( internal exam) and sent ups exams before the final proffs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum recently updated by NMC is mainly based on how we will deal with a real life situation and focused mainly on diseases which are prevailing in India . The teaching method should be on a blackboard rather than reading a PPT which no one can understand . There should be weekly exams for all the subjects with focus on NEET PG mainly MCQ type.

Placement Experience:

In medical colleges, the term placement is not suitable. After doing the MBBS we have to give the NEET PG exam and according to the rank in this exam we get we specialize stream. The students from my college get seats in the very prestigious AIIMS Delhi, Maulana Azad, and many other prestigious colleges. Every year out of 170, 130 to 140 students are selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is my dream, and this college makes it more interesting. This course will give u both name and fame. The satisfaction after saving someone's life is beyond expectation, and it's difficult so challenges me more and I like to face challenges. Every department has professors, associate professors, senior residents, and postgraduate students, the ratio of faculty students is quite good, and all the faculties are always ready to help and support U in any situation. Every faculty is highly qualified, even though some of them hold more than 5-6 degrees, and every professor has more than 10 yrs of teaching experience, and that too in a prestigious organization. I'm blessed to have such an awesome faculty. MBBS and exams a never-ending love story, Nearly at an interval every 3 months, we have an exam, and they are really tough. Viva after every unit, competency, small group discussions, self-directed learning, stage vivas, spotting exams. But these exams are a must if u want to become better.

Placement Experience:

After the internship I.e. after mbbs one usually applies for post-graduation. Since vmmc comes under IP university so you will get an internal quota. But yes can join any hospital and start practicing. Talking about me I will most probably pursue post-graduation from vmmc only. Here, we have one of the highest stipends all over India during pg.
