Course Curriculum Overview

4

First of all this is a Program course not honours. But with new education policy you can get BSC honors in multi disciplinary program after completing 4th year of graduation. My course is under physics department. In 1st year there are 3 DSC or core paper as physics, mathematics and electronics. And you can choose generic elective, skill enhancement course, value added course. Another paper of environmental studies is also compulsory for science students as AEC paper. I choose this course as I can do masters in any field out of these 3 and by 4th year course I can do any integrated phD . By the reference of college I can go abroad for masters . For civil service preparation this college is great. Faculty student ratio in my course is 1:20. Faculty lectures are highly qualified and so friendly. Each faculty is a expert in his field and did a lot of research and got PhD and multiple PhD also . Term exams are moderate level , you will get enough time do other activities.

Indian Academy of Science offers Research internships and give stipend up to 10000 per month, Vice Chancellor summer internships and get stipened. You can get R&D internship, public relations internship, digital marketing, accounting etc . Many research projects also given here and you can get certificate for it .

4.5

There is on campus placement available but in some specific grounds . Highest placement is 36lalh and average placement is 10 lakh . Research facilities also available and you can get reference after college life . You can get campus placement after 5th semester. Carter, Brain &Co, Accenture, KPMG, HCL, KANTAR. And other electrical accessories companies also come for placement but it is limited. But you can get off campus placement by college name . 500 offers made previous year. My plan is to get Masters or Integrated PhD and prepare for civil service exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Fees per year is 27000. But the estimated fees in next year 46000 according to college report. But fees will be stable for next year's also .But you can get scholarships and financial assistance by college specific scholarship for courses .From 2nd year you avail University scholarship programmes by your 1st year good performance by giving you ews and category certificate. National Scholarship scheme also give scholarships for course excellence. You can do internships provided by companies, other organisations and some research paid internships also .

Campus Life

5

Our college has annual fest named MECCA, college freshers name jashn e tarang , intellectual fest , dewali fest named suruchi , and a lot of fests and celebrations. You will get Excellent campus life and a big exposure and get a chance to see a lot of respected and Reel life personalities like Ex chief election commissioner, ex president of European parliament, Cabinet ministers, ex chief justice of Supreme court, Foreign Scientists , film stars for seminars and movie screenings . We got the facility of projectors for comprehensive study . Large sports ground with basket ball facility, football, cricket facility is also available. A lot of societies for literature, drama , civil service preparation, environment conservation named Panchatatva, Buniyad , TedX, Ibtida, CACUS, . A big Library is available for every student in college. Foreign Journals also available to read , research papers also. There is a research centre is also available for research purposes.

Admission

For this college and University of Delhi you have to give CUET exam . For my course you have to give the exam in physics, mathematics and chemistry. The application process is so complex and it is done by cuet samarth portal . After the results , University of Delhi will open its registration process and you can register in CSAS portal . You can register according to your course of choice and eligibility. As my course wants the student should study mathematics, physics, chemistry in 12th from any board. Similarly for other courses you have to qualify other eligibility criteria and have to give other subject papers in cuet exam . In general category cutoff is approximately 300 out of 600 , in OBC and SCST it can be more lower. The application fees for registration in CSAS portal is 250 rs for general, OBC and ews category and 100 for SC st category. As a general student I didn't avail any reservation. There is still a reservation for sports, ncc, and other curricular activities .

Other Applied Colleges

Central University of Haryana - [CUH] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I prefer more exposure and as my aim is upsc so University of Delhi is better option than Central University of Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
