Likes

I liked about KMC is that there are super smart people exist who are doing alot of stuff in the same time , I think that's interesting
Freedom from attendance is there in our college unless other colleges where you have to maintain 75 percent
We can explore Opportunities and make connections and of placements are also decent

Dislikes

Overhyped - the north campus is unnecessarily overhyped literally college doesn't have the basic sports facilities
Infrastructure is so bad and ofc there are some side effects of govt college
Placements are also overhyped, like there are too little students who gets good placements

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it alligns with my interest as I have keen interest in finance and of course I tried to get bcom Hons from srcc but failed because of normalisation done by NTA. But it's okay never mind, overall the experience is good but there are many bad things in our college like infrastructure (under renovation) and faculty is not that good (ofc some side effects of govt college) but you will get many opportunities and good connections and like minded people to interact with

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college is so less like around 13000 per year so it doesn't hurt but what hurts is living expenses because the pg and flats here are super expensive especially near college and moreover you can get scholarship from college as well for the fees if you can't afford

Campus Life

Campus life is good, it is just like if youare with good people then everything will seems good , so find good people in college to enjoy and other than this join societies as much as you can that helps to improve CV alot, in our college societies are good and they organise alot of events so it's a great experience

Admission

Eligibility of bcom is you need to give CUET exam first and this year cutoff for KMC was around 760. There are many quota admission as well like ews,obc,sc and st - if you belong to any of these you can easily get into the top colleges because cutoffs arr genuinely so low for these reservations.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
