Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i like mechanical engineering. Faculty's in this branch is more efficient teachers. They all have completed their M-Tech from different institutes and some of them have got dr.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th and 7th sem onwards students starts to do do intership and training programmes from different companies. Campus placesment will start from 7th sem. For getting in campus placesment there shouldn't be any backpappers. The Number of campus placement is less while considering to other departments and colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

In private colleges we have to pay more fees per semester but in government engineering colleges the fees is less and they will provide scholarships also. I have egrants scholarship. In every semester we have to pay exam fees and college fees. It may cost around 5000 to 6000

Campus Life

Life at my campus is awesome. Different department of our college conducts different tech fest and events which are super cool and there will be calendar based celebrations also. Our college has a good sport team and has won many trophies in both ktu interzone and f zone

Hostel Facilities

College hostel is a big hostel with lots of facilities. There is 24+7 facaulities. The food provided by hostel is good. Hostel have a fixed menu for each day.Registration process is simple here. You have to buy the application form and fill it with necessary details.

Hostel Fee: INR 1500 per year

Admission

We should write KEAM entrance exam to get admission in Engineering Colleges in Kerala. Application form is available online. There will be 900 ruppes registration fees. The application must be submitted before deadline.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I chose this college primarily because of its strong placement statistics and its convenient proximity to my home. Additionally, at the time, the Biomedical Engineering course wasn't widely available; only three colleges offered it, and this institution was considered one of the best among them. College of Engineering Trivandrum. Is it worth the hype

CET is known as the best college in Kerala so my first option was always this one. I did write jee arch. Though I qualified my percentile was not that great to get into IIT s or nit s.
