The faculty is really great. They provide great support.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great. They all adequate subjects not only core engineering but also other subjects which you need in your daily life applications. They help you develop a wide range of skills. The lab classes are also evenly adequate.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good as I pay around 40k per annum but receive much more great education. They also provide great support to students who have bad financial stability. There are many reservations for all different kinds of students.

Campus Life

Though the campus is not that big it provides all the required facilities. There are more 50 clubs which we can take part in according to our interests. The sports and extracurricular activities are great. All the required necessities are there for all the major sports and many others.

Admission

The admission process was really fast and easy to do. They provide you all the required information and support. All the processes except documentation and verification are done online. And the offline process is done in a very professional manner.

I'm a mechanical engineering student at govt Model Engineering college. This department is really great. They provide really great support like extra classes for needed students. They also give you enough freedom to express your ideologies. My class has a strength of 72 and the department has nearly 10 Prof. Excluding lab staff etc.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

I think placement is want to improve their ways .. because there is less options for chemical engineer graduate to join through placements. There are 2 or more companies that is correct are coming for recruitment

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

Typical Model engineering college

I chose this college primarily because of its strong placement statistics and its convenient proximity to my home. Additionally, at the time, the Biomedical Engineering course wasn't widely available; only three colleges offered it, and this institution was considered one of the best among them. College of Engineering Trivandrum. Is it worth the hype

CET is known as the best college in Kerala so my first option was always this one. I did write jee arch. Though I qualified my percentile was not that great to get into IIT s or nit s. The admission process was that we have to upload our nata and plus two marks to the keam portal and then the rank list was published . I got into this college in the third allotment in LA category.
