Likes

Nss community and the volunteers of this large organisation.
Hackthons that are conducted by the small communities in the university are enjoyed a lot.
Gdsc,iedc,foss ,cesa are the communities that I enjoyed a lot.

Dislikes

I don't liked the policies of the college which cannot be accepted by a common person.
The lag in the publishing of results of students.
Placements are not given to every students who are studied and completed the course.

I choose the course, because I want to know more about the computer and it's accessories.the ratio of faculty to students are 1:4.the entrance exam keam for the admission in btech is very difficult to pass.

Placement Experience

The placements are starting in the semester of 6 and 7.amazon,tata, Biju's such big and we'll known companies are coming to our college.the highest annual package offered by the companies are 9.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got scholarship from college for the selected rank holders of keam entrance exam which is around 20000.the fees to study in the college is around 3.5 lakh, and there are more policies about the college which have to be known by you.

Campus Life

The annual fest,tech fest are conducted generally in the even sems ,but it is also conducted in odd sems.the books are available in the library itself.arts day and sports day are conducted in the college every year for finding the talented athletes.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is +2 science or diploma in the given branch.application form can find in the college itself,they will give information about the fees and dates about application filling.reservation are available for the particular categories.

Life at GEC Palakkad

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester onwards we can attend placements.They provide one placement training section (5days) on sixth semester. Siemens, Teachnook,Qburst etc. Based on companies recruitment no.of offers varies. Mostly software companies are came to this college for recruitment. EEE Core placement is less compared to other's. Searching for job.

I chose this college primarily because of its strong placement statistics and its convenient proximity to my home. College of Engineering Trivandrum. Is it worth the hype

CET is known as the best college in Kerala so my first option was always this one. I did write jee arch. Though I qualified my percentile was not that great to get into IIT s or nit s.
